Bio

A bit about my background. I began painting in 1996, at first painting on-site, then later in the studio, I have always been interested in the landscape. As my painting progressed, my work became more simplified and abstracted from the landscape. I developed an interest in patterns and repetition of shape and color. More recently, I have explored printmaking as a way to make multiples of my original drawings with screenprints and etchings and to develop the use of patterns in the prints.
