Looking for Pop-ups

This creative movement showcasing local artists recently appeared in my neighborhood as the Adams Morgan Pop-up Shop sponsored by the Adams Morgan Main Street local business improvement district. This was the first run of the shop which we hope will continue in other locations around the neighborhood. Pop-ups make temporary use of vacant storefronts and retail space to sell work at affordable prices at no cost to the artist. These shops have appeared across the country in cities from Boston to Chicago to Cleveland to Denver to Detroit. Keep your eyes open as they "pop-up" around the city because they are a find.
